"Maja" by Jostein Gaarder is a book designed as a graduation project at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, at the Graphic Design department. It is a minimalistic design, focused on a traditional typography rules according to the book design and the visual storytelling. Details support the reader as he dives into the story, discovering mysteries of evolution, surrounded by questions. At the same time project unfolds with the secret marks, explained further in the second part of the book – manifesto – the magic playing cards.
